Tempest Advertising Owns Cricket Team In Jito Ladies Premier League

Hyderabad: Tempest Advertising said it participated in an auction of cricket players for JITO Ladies Premier League. It recently bid for the best players which has now led them to own one of the six teams. The cricket match is scheduled to begin from December 22, 2024. The company said that women sports players in the age group of 20 to 45 and above, were part of the bidding process. For expert guidance, each team was assigned a star player who had previously played cricket at national level across the country, it mentioned.

“The sportive spirit was palpable in the air with all women getting charged up for the upcoming premier league. The six teams are all set to compete with full enthusiasm and competitiveness.

This marks the beginning of the third season of JLPL which saw a participation of over 60 players, and a large group of women coming together to change the narrative of sports for women,” it further added.
